I sat in on the girl’s S.T.E.A.M class today and got a glimpse of the fun this class brings to their day! They made a beach keepsake with sand and seashells.
Today we worked on our fine motor skills by crinkling tissue paper pieces and glueing them on our pumpkins! The girls did a great job following step by step instructions and the finished product is adorable. It is the perfect addition to our art wall!
We had fun doing puzzles today which is one of the math readiness skills we are working on! Puzzles were extra fun today as we welcomed a new friend to the class. I love watching their friendships grow more day by day!
We had a blast making a build-a-monster craft! The girls showed their body part knowledge by picking the necessary pieces to make a monster and by assembling the body parts where they naturally go. The girls worked their fine motor skills by carefully gluing the pieces on the desired areas and their language skills by using descriptive language to discuss their monsters with their classmates.
We had fun singing the “Mat Man” song while building him today. The “Mat Man” is part of the handwriting without tears plan which helps children in the early stages of writing. “Mat Man” is also a fun way to review our body parts while using our hands and working on our fine motor skills.
For this weeks math readiness skill we’re working on identifying the quantity of numbers! We’re starting out with numbers 1-6 and these girls are killing it 😍
Our Prepper friends enjoyed sorting colors and making patterns this morning. These sweet girls had fun and did an excellent job!
With lots of friends on vacation, these two little ladies enjoyed water day all to themselves. We filled our sensory table with warm bubbles, and gave our babies and horses a bubble bath!
